Features
A boil on the head or neck that causes a sharp, stabbing pain as soon as you touch it with your hand.
"Buttock boils" cause throbbing pain whenever you sit down. What's more, the pain can be persistent and last for more than a week.
It is useful for painful boils that appear in various parts of the body and that you want to heal quickly.
Odecure EX is an effective treatment for painful boils that causes pus to come out and reduces swelling.
■ The mechanism behind the development of "painful boils"
A boil is a skin disease characterized by pus, swelling, and severe pain caused by bacteria infecting the pores.
Step (1)
Bacteria enter and grow in the pores.
Step (2)
The fight between immune cells and germs (inflammatory response) begins, and the pores become red and swollen.
Step (3)
Pus, which is the remains of immune cells and bacteria, continues to accumulate, leading to a state of "swollen and pus-filled skin." When this happens, the pus and swelling put strong pressure on the pain nerves, causing excruciating pain.
■ "Pus comes out and swelling goes down" Odecure EX
To treat a painful boil, it is effective to address both the pus and the swelling separately.
Odecure EX contains "sulfadiazine (antibacterial agent)" to suppress suppuration and "diphenhydramine salicylate" to reduce swelling. It effectively treats painful boils by releasing pus and reducing swelling.
To suppuration
Sulfadiazine has an antibacterial effect that suppresses suppuration.
For swelling
Diphenhydramine salicylate helps reduce swelling.
Treatment points (1)
In some cases, pus may come out, so if you are concerned, we recommend covering the area with gauze after application.
Treatment points (2)
To prevent re-infection with bacteria and the condition worsening again, continue using this medication until the redness subsides, even after the pus has disappeared and the swelling and pain have subsided.
Treatment points (3)
Do not pop the boil yourself, as this can cause damage to the area and reinfection, which can make the symptoms last longer or more persistent.
